The "Hatchling" series is a little personal side project of mine to explore the challenges and the print quality of 3D prints in colored sandstone.
Roughly sketched on a road trip (with an actual pen on paper), then sculpted in Zbrush and 3D printed in colored sandstone.
This is "Hatchling 7", a rather shy guy.
The bottom of the egg is not flat enough, so I had to use the tealight to keep the dragon from falling over.
